Those bastards from the Transport Alliance didn’t admitted it was their ship. Station was completely ruined, but the ship was repaired and modified. Yes, now it’s a salvage ship. And it belongs to the Outer Worlds. Yes, it’s huge. Damn biggest salvage ship, as I know. You should join us as soon as possible. We are making real money. Last time we sold almost all systems of abandoned freighter. Other salvagers can take only couple of valuable parts. We took almost everything. And most of our crew looted some small stuff for themselves. You know, some personal thing of dead ship’s crew, lots of gadgets, displays, wires. Everything you can sell personally to other people, not to the companies. But I don’t care about that. Abandoned ship is dangerous place and I’m a bit coward. However, you are reckless one. So you can try to find something valuable. You told you’ve given up job on freighters. You were tired and bored of similar flights. And we always have something different! And crew is fine. There is always somebody to talk or drink with. Don’t wait. Nowadays Jolly Reaper is the only such ship in this sector. And there is still some loot here. But everything may change…

Well, this year's SHIPtember was quite hard for me due to lack of time and ideas. Almost 3/4 of work was done last week or something like that. So I couldn't make everything I want and ship is a bit crude and unpolished.

They are ore mills, crushing pieces of rock into dust. Then ore is separated from waste, enriched and prepared in other ways to become high quality steel. Can you see those four melting facilities? They are making steel plates, beams, tubes… all you want. And that is stored in those huge containers. Soon another cargo ship will take a couple of them. Hey, look at the engines. They are massive! If waste goes through their exhaust, it begins to glow. Now engines aren’t working, but you must see it! Let’s look at another side now. Yes, yes. That’s hydroponics. How many mining ships has it? But we have! You can take a rest after a long day in one of these little artificial gardens. We care about our employees. Anyway, we are going to dock, so our improvised excursion is over.

The Vostroyan Firstborn are Imperial Guard Regiments. Vostroya is a world in the Halo Zone beyond the Eye of Terror, which swore allegiance to Mars during the Age of Strife. It is now ruled by a committee of Techtriarchs, a mix of Mechanicus Magi and more traditional Imperial planetary government. This is extremely low res so please excuse the noise, especially on the hill. The noise is a combination of very low res, noise filters and complex grass generated by particle systems. I expect it to be fine at high res.
The animation is very large and the only way I can output it on a home computer is at really low res, and even this 1 minute took 3 days to render.

Soviet 20-ton military manned space station, desined for photo and radio intelligence. It was equipped with several cameras, including infrared one and 1 meter camera "Agat-1". It also carried 23mm autocannon, which was tested in space just before deorbiting. It was the first and the only case of shooting in space. First concept supposed to use heavy cargo spacecraft TKS for resupply and crew rotation, but Soyuz was used instead. However, TKS was launched several times later uncrewed. Also ISS module Zarya is based on it.
Hull of unfinished Almaz stations (development of equipment was slow) were used for first "civil" space station DOS-1. Both Almaz and DOS series were called Salyut for press.
