A brilliant splash of color tours the former Denver & Rio Grande Western, leading a BNSF Railway Denver - Provo freight through Spanish Fork Canyon on May 29, 2010. We owe fourth generation railroader Mike Haverty, CEO of Kansas City Southern Railway, a debt of gratitude for the return of the KCS “Southern Belle” passenger livery.

The glowing orange maple here is one that we purchased and planted this past spring, replacing a birch tree that died. I'm so happy with its brilliant fall color :)

The perspective here is me with my back to our garage and looking out to the street with our neighbor's lovely stone house in the background.

Photographed on the Camden Waterfront, also known as the Central Waterfront, is a commercial and entertainment district in Camden, New Jersey, on the Delaware River south of the Ben Franklin Bridge and north of Port of Camden.

This beautiful bright red leaf colour of the Pointsettia is a welcome blaze of colour in the grey of our winter. Found in the Fitzroy Gardens near the Sinclair Cottage. For my 100 Flower Project: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poinsettia

It's always the same - driving along and the sky is majestic. You know a good place to stop, but it's a few miles yet and the traffic is not in your favour. You can see the oranges turn to blue and that great shot has slipped through your fingers.

This didn't happen to me today ;)

But it nearly did.

……. One from the garden yesterday - we’ve tall planter/tub that we have planted out with Fuchsias and last year we added ANO in the top - something that Jill saw in a garden centre but we can’t remember it’s name, however its provided a profusion of blooms again this year. Taken my phone in Apple RAW & edited to B&W in Lightroom. Alan:-)…….
