I told the responding officer that I did not want to file this police report, given the always threatened reprimand for so doing.
Visibly concerned & only after I repeatedly tried to physically tear this report from said policeman's hands, which were above his head to prevent such removal, thus necessitating some jumping on my part, the responding officer verbally reassured me.
That is, he then reiterated, "[y]ou're not doing anything wrong . . . [y]ou're not the criminal . . . [y]ou're OK," etc,,
Enter Detective Borelli. Several weeks later, the aforesaid police officer threatened ME with criminal charges, "if I ever set foot in his police precinct again."
