I blame colleges, families and schools for canceling sporting events, wedding and school photos, I have been forced to take pictures elsewhere, oh strange things, like this Disco Carwash today. After the winter snowstorm in OKC, I been forced to clean the Subaru.
As I understand it, this craziness started with Bill Pickett watching a trained bulldog biting the lower lip of a stray steer to bring it down so the owner could catch it. Somehow, “bulldogging” morphed into steer wrestling.
This is what happens when you let Wikipedia nerds photograph your rodeo.

My vague attempts to catch the sparkly nature of something, well, sparkly. Not entirely successful, I blame the lack of a macro lens. Well, that and my lack of knowing what I'm actually doing, but let's gloss over that.
A female foursome from San Francisco is shaking up the folk-pop scene like an earthquake. When four former rock-star wannabes who retired their ambitions but not their talents got together to make music, a funny thing happened: success! Their combination of edgy lyrics, outstanding vocals, and accomplished instrumentation has hooked a growing and diverse fan base.
