jim had some smoothing out and beefing up to his spider web...he has a bit more to go on this one and the other one still to do.
This is the second draft and is going to be rendered on the computer by my bro.
It's all blackwork/tribal to cover up a old tattoo that looks a bit rubbish now. It will cover most of my upper arm.

Thanks to a friend, I finally understand rolled hems. Am adding them to these embroidered cuffs to approximate the original, tiny edge of Jane Seymour's dress.

I enjoyed stitching this second simple Blackwork design from an old magazine, " New Stitches".
There are ten in the series - I don't think I'll be doing them all!

When I'm feeling low/sorry for myself I sit and stitch small items from patterns as I can't get motivated to do anything more creative - so for two weeks it's been cross stitch and blackwork - hopefully next week I'll shake myself up!
