so, i tattooed a skull and roses on ryan (other work not by me). this wasn't the design i'd drawn up, but we changed it about and came out with something pretty cool. going to have another session on it in a couple of weeks...add some detail to the roses and general touch ups and tweaks. nice

i've done an elvis and johnny cash portrait, in this style, for shane. this is a portrait of his mom (when she was 16/17, standing against a dry stone wall, in a leather jacket). filling the rest of his forearm with more roses (also to be dot shaded). more soon.

I found the idea on Pinterest. I searched for the maker in earnest, but, was not successful. (I don’t like to take advantage of designers.) As this chart shows, I made many changes.

My second tattoo. (You can barely see my first there towards the top right of my foot in this photograph; it's a film slate.) This was done on January 26, 2010 at Chicago Tattoo Co. in Winter Park, Florida. This is my right foot.

I love writing and journaling, and I wanted a pen tattoo to capture my love of analog writing. I had a general idea, and the artist came back with this - I love it. The 'swoop' of drawn lines/ink and the heart are my favorite part. I love that heart.
