In the traditional art of drinking "Ostfriesentee" in a specific region in the Nort-West of Germany, Rock Candys (Kluntje) is put in the glass, a carefully composed mix of black teas served on it, and finally a small shot of cream is added, but you don't mix, letting the flavors develop progressively, as the sugar dissolves into the tea.

Macro Mondays - Tea
A circular, decaffeinated teabag dunked into a glass mug of boiling water. It is made by Tetley and is black tea, decaffeinated to 0.2%
I don't drink decaffeinated tea through choice but was advised by a health practitioner to either limit the amount of cups/mugs of tea per day or drink it without the caffeine.....obviously being a true English woman who loves her cuppa, I went along with the decaf option !!!!!
The development of the Darjeeling town dates back to the mid-19th century, when the colonial British administration in India set up a sanatorium and a military depot. Subsequently, extensive tea plantations were established in the region, and tea growers developed hybrids of black tea and created new fermentation techniques. The resultant distinctive Darjeeling tea is internationally recognized and ranks among the most popular of the black teas in the world.
