This is the front frame from PB 1 - I've called it a BITSA because I don't know what make it is and I rebuilt it up from bitsa this and bitsa that.

I went to the auction at New Lampton about 35 years ago when this bike sold for $2500 in nice original condition.

The purchaser decided to restore it and I painted the tank at the time for him.

Like all of the racing Douglas's that have come out of the woodwork in NSW in the last 15 years it is a little bit of a bitsa.....this particular bike has a few "TT" parts fitted to it. Great bike.

It has been converted to "SW" specs whilst in the current owners possession.

Didn't have an original stem - I really do not like this one but it does the job. The tyres I bought in Germay for 7euro each - I think that they look the business!

A very solid 1950's Raleigh Bitsa for restoration.

G-HURI is really a bitsa. It's RCAF 5711 but incorporates bits of RCAF 5424, 5547 & 5625.
