A bit off the wall for me this one, but a shot i thought leant itself to something a bit different. The image is of a girl sitting on the beach at Abermawr in north pembrokeshire. Taken with the 70-300mm lens the compression has produced a foreshortened background which is the wooded area to the west of the beach. Two seperate solarised conversions for foreground and background and then blended together.
Best seen on Black, press "L" or click on image, then on a PC press F11 for full screen view, or view in Fluidr (use link below).

A bit of a dull photo tonight despite a good day full of lots of photo opportunities.
It was starting to get light when we were getting ready to leave for work this morning and it looked like it was going to be a dry day. I made a mental note to pick up my camera and take some shots of Glasgow before work and promptly forgot! Very unfortunate, as the river was like a mirror this morning and we had a stunning sunset this evening. Ho hum.
After work I met MrH and the Young Man for an early birthday treat for me before TYM goes back to uni on Friday (sob). We went for a lovely Thai meal and then to the cinema to see Life of Pi. It was visually stunning and I loved it, as did my boys. Fab evening and a great mid-week treat :)

Lower, leaner and a littel bit meaner, the Chevrolet Camaro is all new for 2016, now in its sixth generation. Available with an array of engines, including, even a two-liter four, the Camaro is best when served hot.
How hot? How about an SS model with a 6.2-liter V-8 engine generating 455 horses?

What more could a little girl need but a fairy costume, a toy from a favorite TV show, a pink barbie bike & a sippy full of juice.
So much color & happiness! Childhood is amazing. Wish I could remember more of mine!

Bit of Whimsy Dolls
Made using my Mae ePattern and my Pretty Peasant Dress ePattern
This is a gift for Abby's 1st grade teacher who is retiring this year. She has been a fantastic teacher who cared about Robbie last year and has cared for Abby this year. I wanted to make her something special and since she loves my dolls, I thought Mae would be a good choice!

I have a bit of time so I am going to have a bit of a ramble :-))
Firstly - deepest apologies to all my flickr friends for not being around to comment as much as I usually do, I keep promising to get back to it but I keep getting sidetracked with things.
Well I am on holiday, 4 months until I am back, unless I have any resits, which I hope I dont, but you never know.
Going on holiday in two weeks to Portugal for 10 days or so, then I am leaving my family(They are there for fourteen nights), and I am going onto Paris - not sorted out how yet, probably train, where I am meeting up with 4-5 people who I am going to go interrailing with. After Paris we will head to Amsterdam, then Berlin, Warsaw, Prague, Bern, Venice, Rome, Milan. After Italy we head to Greece, then after that I am undecided. I may travel south into Turkey, Syria, a few days in Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Libya, Algeria and finaly into Morocco and then off to Spain and back home. Thats a rough plan anyway - I am pretty spontaneous so, it may change en route.
