I started making these after my cousins gave their Christmas turtles away to the persistent kids downstairs from them. I don't enjoy the sewing/making up of items, and prefer the knitting part so much more. Especially when it's in bitesize chunks like these.
Now it’s time to cater to that sweet tooth I have. Cupcake Bar in #durham is owned by two gals who make the cupcakes fresh every morning using all local ingredients. And they deliver!!! These 2 pictured are their “mini” bitesize cupcakes. Pictured left is dark chocolate coconut and right one is vanilla lemon. 👌 Only one stop left for me a little later tonight… Where you can find the best burger ever, it’s a hidden gem. Stay tuned! The light, the fear, the angel
has already dispersed with the celestial voice,
the heavenly throat no longer rings -
but in their hearts the lull floats still

feet on the ground, their eyes on the sky,
They go and do not see how it can be,
How it was that he called them, just them, the sweet call -
Our Creator! what can it be?
What shall they think? - Them sad, menial people,
Who dwell in the pastures of the wilderness
and their clothes full of fleas -
with nothing but songs in their mouths
and in their hearts the warmth of wool -
are they worthy of such mercy?
Why hast thou not sent them a message?
To the ones brooding over the scriptures?
They understand your voice.
Why not to the rich in finery:
They may bring gifts...
What does a shepherd see and what does he give?
Thus they go, silent in their wanderings.
And they look down to the ground,
where their shapeless shadows are thrown.
Thus they go, thus for evermore,
Perplexed as to what this is
The blessed, coated shepherds of fleece.
