This is what happens when you want to take a photo and one of the subjects doesn't agree with it, so it suddenly bites your mother when you press the shutter button.

I adore these Monster High Scary Tales dolls, but I just wish the stories were better written. The artwork in the books is wonderful, but the actual story is really rough. You can tell what they were going for with the stories, but it doesn't quite work. A stronger copy editor probably could have fixed it.
ANYWAY, sorry to go off on that tangent! Haha! I like the Draculaura doll much better after seeing it in person. I tried to recreate some of the story with this pic. Cleo is getting ready to present the poison apple to Snow Bite. Cleo is wearing a handmade dress by iddybiddyspider on Etsy and a cloak made by my mom. :D

Hey guys,
Sorry I've been inactive for the last couple days. My weekend was really hectic and so was this week at the office.
Honey Bunches of Oats is one of my favourite cereals. I especially love the cinnamon flavoured one! Mmmm... Its a bowl of tasty golden bites! Yum :)

A fresh slice of melon, kissed by light and color. The bite reveals its juicy texture, set against a vibrant rainbow backdrop — a celebration of nature’s simplicity meeting creative vision.

While on a wander with my macro lens, I discovered this "skeeter" trying to bite my leg. I've never looked at a mosquito this close before - not pretty, but definitely interesting!

Algae on a red fence. Patterns created by snails.
Shot after sundown in an area that's in deep shade even when the sun is high in the sky.
I probably could have made more out of this but decided to keep the slightly unusual colour palette the blue light provided.
Saw this fake fellow on one of the sidewalks out front of The Crab Shack restaurant and it really took me by surprise! Hehe
We went there for dinner and it was quite an adventure. They have a section of live alligators in a pool. The area is protected so they can't get out and you can't get in. Well, mostly you can't get in, someone might could if they tried but I don't know why some would want to try.
He says, Bite Me. Which is also kind of how I'm feeling about Flickr at the moment. My own take of a protest photo if you will. There will be more photos of my Crab Shack adventures to come. Maybe. If I can ever figure this stuff out, and if they start fixing some of the bugs!
Seen at Tybee Island, Ga.

"He is a liar, O truly tremendous one!" said one of the drivers. "Several of our people were struck by lightning in the cave, when we invited these creatures to come below; and they are as dead as stones. Also he has not explained this!" He held out the sword which Thorin had worn, the sword which came from the troll's lair. The Great Goblin gave a truly awful howl of rage when he looked at it, and all his soldiers gnashed their teeth, clashed their shields and stamped. They knew the sword at once. It had killed hundreds of goblins in it's time, when the fair elves of Gondolin hunted them in the hills or did battle before their walls. They had called it Orcrist, Goblin-cleaver, but the goblins simply called it Biter. They hated it and hated worse anyone who carried it.
After seeing Cole Edmenson's incredible Lord of the Rings sword replicas, I had to build one of my own as well. I planned on doing Elendil's sword Narsil, but Narsil looks like Cole's Glamdring in many ways, and I didn't want to take all of his ideas. While thinking of other famous LOTR swords, I realized that Orcrist would be a fun and challenging build. Perhaps the hardest part of the build was the end of the hilt, with it's bends and curves. I finally settled on the hilt you see above. It isn't perfect, but it looks pretty good. Another thing I wanted to incorporate into the build was strength and swooshability. If any of you have seen my Katanas I posted a few months ago, you may have gathered that it didn't look to strong. and let me tell you, they were not at all. I used four stud wide plates in the katanas, so they were not very swooshable. The only way I could hold them was straight in the air, and if I tilted it only a small inch, the entire blade would snap. For this build, I used bricks instead of plates, and used a long technic brick to connect the blade to the hilt. The sword is quite sturdy, and can be swung and slice through goblins with ease. I'll try to get a video uploaded, although my camera is not uploading videos correctly at the moment.
Also, I planned on building a sheath for Orcrist, but due to lack of pieces, It wasn't possible. Still, I'm very pleased with the results. It's quite fun to swing at imaginary Goblin King stomachs :P
Oh, and the decorative swirl in the blade is based off of Cole's Sting replica.

Boots on the ground happened at 8:AM.
Arrived at Mr Kind Monks around 9:AM
[ actually we were up around 4:AM. ]
We immediately went into action
with Ms Molly the Sweetheart.
In the semi-graphic photo you can
kind-of see the large bite wound !
It goes all the way through to
the bottom of her mouth
under her tongue ;-0-
No# 1's hand on the bottom
while my hand is on top in
an attempt to show the
deep bite wound ;-(
It's deep and long with lots of pain.
This is a real nasty bad monkey bite.
Molly was given two injections as
fast as we could then handed
Mr Kind Monk some specific
medicines he will give her
over the next ten days.
Mr Kind Monk was also given
a bunch of home cooked food.
From here we went to the nuns
place to first check on Yo-Yo.
She is much better now ;-)
Nuns were also given special
home cooked food and
some personal meds.
Please remember it's through your
heartfelt donations that this is
made possible. Your funds
are saving lives for real.
We can never thank you enough.
No matter how large or small
we can certainly use them all.
As most of you know I've been doing
this non-stop for ten years now.
No-matter the weather or
my physical condition
I've never stopped.
No# 1 will stay in constant contact
with the nuns making sure the
dogs are recovering well.
Yo-Yo's open burns are starting to
look much better with no infection.
Ms Molly has a long road ahead of her.
That monkey bite is way nasty and we
came to the scene late but with way
big powerful MoJo medications.
To all of you who support us with
your donations you are life savers.
Molly's wound is going to take extra
work to make sure no infection starts.
But, we are on a mission from Dog :-)-
Thank You.
