Same statue (as seen in the previous photo) different angle, trying to get the sun in it's mouth, but the clouds didn't want to co-operate.
This was my first attempt at cupcake bites. I made these at my mom's house over Mother's Day weekend. She helped roll the red velvet cake balls. I wound up doing half there, while falling asleep and perhaps a wee bit typsy... and half the next day when I got home. The second half turned out nicer. :)
I'm located in Fort Worth TX

This guy lives in the small 54 gallon reef I have at home. He loves to bite the hell out of my hand when I am cleaning the tank. Bastard.
Chris complained about his bites. Starting at the ankles - well, as you can see, below the shoe line, actually - my legs were covered in bites. There's more than 50 in this shot, and I'm tall, so my legs go quite a bit higher.
This is the design that is on a new bag I'm working on. It's a cream jean on the outside blue jean on the inside. Design is handstitched. For the vampire/twilight lover.

During the winter, there are dozens of bald eagles. This one is a juvenile - you can tell by the colors of its feathers, and the lack of a bald cap. Some people mistakenly believe that female bald eagles look like this, and the males have the white hood. That is not true - all bald eagles have the brown coat / head for the first two-three years of their life.
This photo was taken with a Canon 7d and a 100-400L lens. The settings I used varied that day, most of them were around ISO 800-1600 and f6.3 and f7.1, It was quite sunny which made for some shadows.
Ms Bruiser runs over to bite me, then runs back to her boyfriend, Cotton Butt. I couldn't tell if she bit me because she was saying hello, or if she remembers I'm the one who left her with these ducks and made her learn how to be a duck. Either way, it's fine by me. She's a sweety pie and it's great to see her with her new boyfriend.
Today I went to a BBQ at Ms Bruiser's forever home. She is doing just great. In fact, much to my surprise, she has become a DUCK and no longer thinks she's a human. It was a little sad for me, but she sure looks happy with her duck friends, and it's for the best for her. She did come over to see me once and I was able to pick her up and kiss her on the head. After that she went right back to her friends.
