This week we wandered down to the beach for the first time this summer. It was such a nice night. The birds and dolphins were out in force. This was a nice moment.

I feel lucky to live so close to the beach. Very few places in the world you can afford to be so close to such a beautiful spot.

Bang Phra Reservoir

On a good day you may well see over 100 bitd species- Bushlark, Prinia, Barred Button Quails, Chinese Francolin, Oriental Darters, Rufous Treepie, Laced Woodpecker to name but a few. A gentle stroll round the reservoir will sooth your soul and get you out in the fresh air. A perfect place for some shutterer therapy.

A Rainbow Lorikeet in a Red Flowering Gum tree (Corymbia ficifolia). The photo was taken with a porta flood light attached to my house for extra lighting. In my garden at 6.15am.

This is a group photo but I'm still waiting for Honey's photo so I thought I'd upload Darcy's for now!

Funk 'N' Glow (2002) Yasmin was my first Bratz bitd so I thought it would be a nice little tribute for Darcy to be her this week hehe. I redrew the whole design on the back of the box from scratch and I think it looks really accurate tbh! Her pose isn't really "fashionable", but emulating some of the crazy poses of the girls' artwork for this line as displayed on the back of the box. I'm proud of this and hope I can get a high placing this week!

(I'll be making up week 5's photo too so expect that soon)

What little time I had to bird this week I found a few goodies but unfortunatly we have been under clouds so I saw them but I didn't take one shot. So this is a step back a few months.

Friends I don't post to the invite groups as I dont really have time to do them justice. If I posted my shots to them I feel obligated to comment there and I just dont have the time. If you think enough of my photos to invite them elsewhere just hit the fav button instead.

Posted BIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the few nice winter days we had so far, too much rains ( sorry South Africa!) the bearded seedlings showed themselves to find some seeds. Male
