Despite the mysterious damage on this negative, i like the photo.
Anyone with ideas on what is happening here? The streaking is only on the last 4 frames (9-12) so it rules out agitation issues and insufficient developer, maybe a light leak? The line slightly arcs
I shot this with my Rolleiflex and haven't experienced anything else like it since.
You'll be pleased to know, I didn't steal a birds nest, I made it. The quail eggs came from the supermarket.
I recently snapped this Red-tailed hawk who was doing a typical fly-pass over an open field. On cropping the picture I noticed that he was carrying something in his beak… looks more like a bird than a rodent.
Love this capture because it has a female Fig Bird "Sphecotheres Virdis" and a Foxtail Palm showing The trunk, Branches and fruit

This mother commandeered a tray of mealworms put out for the smaller birds. The neighbourhood Magpies liked them, too.
Humming Bird: made me wait for a nice 20-25 minutes to pose that way. The lights were going off but managed to get this shot at around 7:30 PM in the Mill Lake Park, in Abbotsford BC
