Sandpiper
Birds
The sandpipers are a genus within the snipe family. They are small plover-like birds that occur in the north of the northern hemisphere. A large number of the species breed in the subarctic. In common parlance, the various species are sometimes referred to summarily as "sea larks".

A beautiful bird found on the edge of woods, This may be a juvenile as it appeared a little smaller and has white on wing edges.
The bird had recovered quickly and flew away happily - and I had taken some nice photos! :-)
Bruchpilot Nr. 2
Der verunglückte Vogel hatte sich schnell erholt und flog fröhlich davon - und ich hatte ein paar schöne Fotos gemacht! :-)
Hier sieht er schon wieder fit aus!
Bad luck that I only had the 18-55 mm on :o) but she was awesome :o) I've never seen swans here before. No feed for them here. But this one was very young and clearly lost. She kept searching and looking around, before she disappeared around the corner and probably found a place to rest for a while :o)
Members of the crow family are amongst the most intelligent birds being able to make and use tools and even count up to eight. But crows also have a bad reputation being associated with fear and evil and symbolise magic, mystery and witchcraft in many myths and stories. One of my favourite poems is The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe - Quoth the Raven “Nevermore.”.

K.Marinović - Birds Meet Color
Hello!
Hope everyone is having a nice evening/day. Here is my newest work called "Birds Meet Color"! This is a blueish, color version of my photo "Birds". I really wanted to see how this photo would look with a bit of color to it, so that´s why I made this. I think I created an interesting mood in this. A very crazy one, I must say. Some of you will probably say the silhouette is a bit too "harsh", but it is meant to be artistic and not "real". This is just supposed to be a very crazy photo, not something you should look as reality, I guess.
Hope you´ll like it!
Tell me what you think. Cheers!

Pacific wren, caught for a brief moment in the light! Usually my photos of these birds are in the dark forest, so I am very lucky for once to get this bird in abit of light.
Sure seen allot of pelicans in Florida. Started to head for home and one of my crowns in my mouth came off. We made it just in GA and I finally found a dentist tha would see me in the am and hopefully they can just cement it back on.
