Technology can be a good thing until as most good things it becomes corrupt. Although a few people can afford to harvest organs via stem cell there will still be enough people where it will be less expensive to become part machine. Just how far will they go? Part machine or something more, for example if a robot is programmed to do a task, providing it runs properly the human element is gone. Hopefully we will learn before it is too late.
Rather large! This year they have it an ant heap.
Ants are the athletes of the bug world - exceptionally strong and fast. They can run at 300 meters an hour, which is roughly 800 times their body length in a minute. And carry over 10 times their body weight.
Life on Earth originated and then evolved from a universal common ancestor approximately 3.7 billion years ago (unless you happen to be Glaswiegen). Repeated speciation and the divergence of life can be inferred from shared sets of biochemical and morphological traits, or by shared DNA sequences. These homologous traits and sequences are more similar among species that share a more recent common ancestor, and can be used to reconstruct evolutionary histories, using both existing species and the fossil record. Existing patterns of biodiversity have been shaped both by speciation and by extinction.

Starbuck in the new Battlestar Galactica , signing autographs at Collectormania in Milton Keynes 2005.
Was also in the Bionic woman remake .
Unfortunately, I did not get this autographed myself.... meeting Ms. Wagner would be a bucket list dream... But, I fo have the doll (action figure) and a picture of her signing it.
que mania a minha de blendar a xtina agora rs mas enfim, eu queria fazer algo com o shoot de bionic e saiu como eu queria.

I'm pretty sure these are orginally Kenner's Dusty doll clothes, but today they are Jaime's newest DBC (designer budget collection). This low cut Mandarin collar blouse and cargo capri are right outta Lindsay's wardrobe.

First trip of the year to Folkingham! and what an eventful trip it was! Traveled up with Nocturne, Mizzi and thanks Weedall89, when we got there hooked with Neon Nine and Andy K! and what an awesome night it was despite someone driving up the run away turning and pointing there light's directly at us, not seeing us then driving away, pretty eventful as always!
One of the strangest toys I have ever seen in a pound shop (and they have many strange toys!). I doubt very much its a completely original figure as they are almost all knock offs. Anyone got any ideas what it is based on?
As always, the paintjob was very poor so I have given him some dental work and a better eye (he needs to look after what few organic bits he has left!).
Kenner released the Bionic Woman with leftover fashions late in the line. These are very pricey these days. So I made my own. I custom designed the sticker and added the extra fashions in the box. These do all seem to be the smaller heads on the smaller bodies. So I used one of those as well.
MCM comic con Liverpool, Lindsay Wagner
The Bionic Woman is an American television series starring Lindsay Wagner that aired for three seasons between 1976 and 1978 as a spin-off from The Six Million Dollar Man.
silly me-- i am taking a pic of myself in the mirror to 'show off' the patch they put on my right eye after the cataract surgery. the peach patch came off the following day (wednesday) and i am adapting to an eye that is healing, albeit too slowly for me. i want to be out driving, taking pictures and editing and commenting ~sigh~. am thinking that the picture quality and sliding/post processing will not be great for a while yet.
