I ordered a set of these and I thought about ordering a second set... one to open and display, the other to keep carded. But, I have been somewhat frugal this year, as I wanted a new set of wheels (a Trek bike, which I just recently treated myself for my upcoming bday). Anyway, a friend sent me a set, so yays!

I'm SUPER EXCITED for this release! For the past month or so, I have been experimenting with Blender and some other programs, taking a lot of time to try and learn how to make mesh items and I am still continuing to learn. I have made several practice items and wanted to finally make something final. And here it is! Not only that, but I also learned how to make a texture changing hud as well! Its a rather simple mesh item, but I feel like I have made a lot of progress. ❤
You can get this bionic implant at CYBER FAIR right now! And because the item is unrigged, you can basically put this implant anywhere you want on your avatar, not only on your chest! :D

I was inspired to build a "bionic bunny" based on this artwork of Shane's, but my parts on hand took me in a slightly different direction. Large character builds are still a new area for me to build in, so pretty pleased with how this turned out.

So even though I can outrun and out-jump anyone on the track team, I can’t qualify because of these. Not that I wanted to join track. The shooting team is where I belong.”

Despite pleading with a so-called friend to buy me this Bionic Woman, Mr. Selfish (you know who you are) refused. So I bought her myself and did some cleaning up.
I mainly wanted the jumpsuit which is custom. It just needed the bottom hem lowered and new shoes. This looks like a version of the suit Jaime wore at Carlton Harris's factory and the Kenner Mission Purse suit.
The figure is the smaller head/body release later in the toy run. The suit will look better on a larger Jaime and needs a real belt.
It was interesting to watch these robots make the requested drinks... I still prefer the human whom you can interact with. Slid for HSS !

Week 19/52 - Weekly Photography Challenge - Artificial
For "artificial" I used a chrome candle holder shaped like an apple. I really like the way the the wooden floor is reflected in the lower half of the apple and the kitchen and dining room area is reflected in the top half.

The final released head (minus hair) vs an early prototype. A fascinating look at the early Kenner development stage of the Jaime head. Bionic collectors know that at least two head sculpts were released - one larger and more round and the smaller slightly oval shape. This prototype and final head sculpt are the smaller version.

inspired by the wonderful heavenly~flower to do a fun clone shot..had just a few minutes to run around like a maniac in an empty home depot parking lot.. added the blur to make it look as if i had the power to run around at the speed of light in a single frame.. get it? ehhh... ok :P
