Bindis stashed in her pocket.

It took a few shots to get it right as Bindi was very enthousiastic about the photo session..

Flash into reflector from the front and umbrella from the right..

The garden is quite bare of plants at the moment.

But give it a few years and it will be as full of life as it always used to be.

Truly a weed - a plant growing in the wrong place - this produces seeds with sharp barbs that make the lawn a tough place from early summer on. These are the new seeds just forming.

Bindi has just turned 15 months, here. She's out by the pool enjoying the warm weather and bright sunshine.

Der kleine Elefant Bindi ist der Jüngste in der Elefantenherde im Kölner Zoo. Er ist diesen Sommer am 25.7. auf die Welt gekommen.

We got her from Battersea Dogs and Cats home in Old Windsor in 2006. She was a stray and they estimated her at about a year and a half when we got her. We think she is a German Shepard/Staff cross but no one really knows for sure. She's such a great dog and I'd recommend Battersea to anyone!

This may have been shortly after Mom got Bindi.
