Swiss Binary Robot – Can turn $500 into $2271 in few days!

I swear, this was shot on film and not tampered with in the scan. It was just the chance nature of the camera shake that made it looks so digital in that 1980's way.

Here's a rest stop rest room building just east of the drop into Albuquerque. New Mexico has feelings of insecurity about its highway rest stops, and it needs reassurance, so it gives you a little button to push outside its rest areas that will register your feelings. It's a binary choice, though. There's no option for ambivalence.

 

This is another example of one of those filler photos from the trip's driving phase I should just chuck. But I have several more interesting photos to post right after this that I want to post in a group tomorrow, and the timing leaves a bit of slack today, so here you go.

Michael Burton is working with students at SMART to develop world-first hardware to measure the temperature and location of a beer keg, as well as how full it is. I didn't expect it, but this picture reminds me of artists' renditions of binary systems with a black hole and another, larger star that is being sucked in.
