Spells out "Hat" in binary with the stripes. Knit for a friend's graduation present; previous idea for graduation present didn't quite work out and I only discovered it at about 8 PM the night before his party, so I knit this up really, really fast. Knit from leftover stashed Lion Brand Wool-Ease (20% wool).
The binary scarf from Knitty, pattern slightly modified. Just because everyone asks what it says, it's a counter running from 0 to 48 with a 1 bit even parity.
I don't like it. I don't like that while fixing the exposure the blue was much brighter than the pink. I am having serious issues that I am going to write an article about. It will be about gender and power.
I've been keeping track of the days of the year in binary using York peppermint chocolate pieces. It's "Day 011111111 / 101101101". That means we're moving into a new byte tomorrow. Or, if you prefer hex "Day 0FF / 16D".
