Went for a ride from Eltham N. to Diamond Creek via the bike path. One problem, the bridge at Eltham N. park was down. The detour up Wattle Tree road was an unexpected hill climb. Rode into DC, went and re-photographed my old PS. Last did this in 2008 and boy had it changed. A lot more buildings but less open space.

There was about 40 of these rainbow lorikeets tucking into these seeds on the ground next to the Park Street bicycle track today. So pretty. I've never seen so many of them in plain view at once.

Jude wanted the stabalisers off his bike yesterday. I don't know what prompted it, but he was sure - so that was done. He was so keen to ride his bike this morning that he got very frustrated that it was raining - but the weather cleared up nicely. So, down at the bike track after swimmng & he's just rode up to me & collapsed on the floor - so not really crashed... I think he's only come of twice in a couple of days intensive 'unstabalised' bike riding
