Spotted a tiger early in the morning while exploring the jungle in an open jeep. Beautiful looking big cat.
Jaguar "cubs" B'alam and Zean from the Milwaukee County Zoo. I'm not sure who's who. They have since been transferred to different zoos via the AZA's Species Survival Plan, but it was great to see them together when I was in Milwaukee. These are Pat and Stella's cubs and have "valuable" genes since dad Pat came from the wilds of Belize.
This is Pat, one of the jaguars at the Milwaukee County zoo. He came from Belize. He couldn't be released back in to the wild but found a home and a mate (Stella) at the Milwaukee County zoo. You can read all about Pat's story, jaguars and their habitats in a book written by the children of Belize and Milwaukee: "Pat the Great Cat: A Jaguar's Journey" published by SHARP Literacy, Inc.

Slightly disappointed about how this looks on here because I loved the shot instantly, but nevertheless demonstrates the amazing creature I had in front of me.
This beautiful animal was photographed at the Eagle Heights Wildlife Park in Kent see www.eagleheights.co.uk for details of the park

Kira Victoria is the three year old snow leopard at the Zoo New England's Stone Zoo in Stoneham, Massachusetts. She was born at the Toronto Zoo. Her mom Tiga was born at the Stone Zoo and we still have Tiga's mom, eighteen year old Tang. Kira uses the fence to climb up and down the cliff. Needless to say, the animal care staff have reinforced the fence :)
