This is Dinari at Zoo New England's Franklin Park Zoo in Boston, Massachusetts. He and his brother Kamaia are 6 years old and came from the Dallas Zoo.

Here's Sean now, many years later. He's huge! About 550-600 lbs, depending on how fully his belly is. Not a mean bone in his body.

Photographed during a training session at the Rajaji National Park in Uttarakhand, India.

I had some decent luck with the resident leopard (jaguar) this morning. I love his intense eyes.

This is Pat, one of the jaguars at the Milwaukee County zoo. He came from Belize. He couldn't be released back in to the wild but found a home and a mate (Stella) at the Milwaukee County zoo. You can read all about Pat's story, jaguars and their habitats in a book written by the children of Belize and Milwaukee: "Pat the Great Cat: A Jaguar's Journey" published by SHARP Literacy, Inc.

I have learned that this is a jaguar, thanks to Flickr
