Snow leopards are generally found in central and southern parts of Asia. They have some interesting things about them. They have a sorta stocky build. They also have short, round ears and really thick fur. All of these help keep them warm in their cold environment. They have big paws and long tails to help them stay balanced when walking in the snow in the mountains. They also have large nasal cavities. Without them, it would be difficult to breath in the cold thin air where they live. This picture was taken at the Denver Zoo in their feline house area.
I took it in the Servion Zoo (Switzerland). The composition and the light were not easy to arrange because of the wire fences. It was the same for the clearness.
