Mountain Lion...
there were a pair...female in season, who kept putting the moves on this guy...he was trying so hard to take a nap! it was fascinating to hear the different sounds they make in communication. i spent a large portion of my time watching and listening to these two, as well as the leopards. the lone cheetah was gorgeous also, but alas uncooperative for photos.
This is Chessie and Seymour at Zoo New England's Stone Zoo in Stoneham MA. Chessie was born at Stone Zoo and Seymour came to Stone Zoo from Tulsa based on the Jaguar SSP recommendation. I took the photo focusing on Seymour but when I looked at it later, realized I had Chessie's profile in the photo too.
Jaguar "cubs" B'alam and Zean from the Milwaukee County Zoo. I'm not sure who's who. They have since been transferred to different zoos via the AZA's Species Survival Plan, but it was great to see them together when I was in Milwaukee. These are Pat and Stella's cubs and have "valuable" genes since dad Pat came from the wilds of Belize.
I had a good morning!!! 6:45am heavy cloud coverage and low light so I had to crank my ISO. Wish the light was better but I'm not complaining :) Just dont zoom in or you will see how noisy it is lol. I tried to work my best photoshop magic.
This is the most stunning tiger i have ever seen with my own eyes. The beautiful blue eyes were stunning along with the rest of it. Sadly i can`t say what sex it is but i will print my images off and know that although the blue blue eyes haven`t shown up they are there.
Another personal favourite. Taken under controlled conditions, but not a fence in sight!

Tyger! Tyger! burning bright,
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
