First day of the new year I decided to spend the afternoon wandering along some cliffs I have never been to. I readied the camera as the sun was setting. It was not the most spectacular of sunsets and some disappointment crept in. I was making my way back but then as the sun faded below the horizon an explosion of colours occured. What seemed like a dank sullen sky turned into a canvas worthy of any artist. Head over heels I ran back to get some of the tinges on film.

And today I realised that just like in life, even amidst the dreary and dull, extraordinary things can await just round the corner.

Anyways, Happy New Year! Whatever that means.

Tomorrow my daughter Mara moves to Massachusetts. I will miss not having her close.

I wish I could return to the time when the four of us all lived under the same roof.

THIS is how I pictured my little guy! I love this wig on him. It was handmade especially for him by a friend on DoA.

Since I "cheated" before, and used an old D photo for D week - D is for Dog - I wanted to add a new D photo this week, even though it's late. ; )

Santa brought my Iplehouse girl Bonnie (long red hair, wearing Mickey tshirt with red polka dot leggings) a lot of Disney toys. I have a flickr album with a 28-picture photostory showing her Disney Christmas. Bonnie recently invited her friends over to enjoy a day playing with some of her Disney toys! ; )
