This aircraft was delivered to Luxair - Luxembourg Airlines as LX-LBA in Feb-15. It was fitted with 'Split Scimitar' winglets in Mar-15.
In Nov-21 the aircraft was repainted in a special livery, 'Esch - 2022' supporting that town's bid for European Capital of Culture status, 2022. Current, updated 10-Jun-25.

First day of the new year I decided to spend the afternoon wandering along some cliffs I have never been to. I readied the camera as the sun was setting. It was not the most spectacular of sunsets and some disappointment crept in. I was making my way back but then as the sun faded below the horizon an explosion of colours occured. What seemed like a dank sullen sky turned into a canvas worthy of any artist. Head over heels I ran back to get some of the tinges on film.
And today I realised that just like in life, even amidst the dreary and dull, extraordinary things can await just round the corner.
Anyways, Happy New Year! Whatever that means.
Tomorrow my daughter Mara moves to Massachusetts. I will miss not having her close.
I wish I could return to the time when the four of us all lived under the same roof.
