It was a bit of a culture shock when we first moved out to Plano.

In front of me is a compost tumbler that I made myself. The idea is that I can put kitchen waste in and then screw the lid on. To keep things mixed and aerated all I have to do is kick it over and roll it along the ground.

The nearby laundromat was getting it's bulk detergent in these really nice containers with these heavy duty lids. The guys there were kind enough to save some of them for me.

Wonder why I have screen name of biboveralls? Well. Here you go. Pretty much minus one pair been keeping all my (not sure why) all the biboveralls I wear. As you can see some have been more worked in then others.

Can just about tell and remember my work history in each pair if anyone is ever interested haha

Pippin the Mini-Golden (probably more like a dachshund/beagle/chow mix) underwent surgery a couple weeks ago to repair a diaphragmatic hernia. For the next 10 days after surgery, he had to have a gastric tube attached through his side into his stomach. His incision and tube were bound up by an uncomfortable bandage.

After the sutures and tube were removed, the remaining hole was left open to drain and seal up on its own.

I didn't want Pippin to have to wear another bandage for the next week, so I went looking for another solution and found these toddler bibs. They keep the area protected while still allowing air to circulate, so the wound dries out.

And they have the added bonus of making him look just too cute for words

Not enough overalls folks post photos from the back! Often the back is interesting on its own.

I'm kind of oddly purist in how I think overalls should look from the back. I prefer the full back panel like this, and I'm not a fan of "low back" overalls where the straps just go all the way down to the waist where they either button on or are sewn on. Weird thing to have a preference for, maybe, but the shape of a 'proper' back side of overalls always looks great to me!
