9/22/08 - While getting my after lunch snack the lunch lady stopped me and asked my name. When I told her, she replied, "Well, Miss Wills, you have the prettiest smile. Everyday you give me that smile and some days... it just makes my day! You're very friendly." It made my day to hear that a smile can have such an effect on someone. I'm glad to be myself today.

Seconds, minutes, hours, days, months and almost one year, she never thought time would fly so fast and there's only few days left to look, try to memories and hold in her heart every small details of the city that she loved, where she spent her best year in her life, where she met her new family and where her best adventure took a step, she never thought this step would change her life, would open for her doors she never though they were exist, but it was as every adventure starts with fear of the unknown and end up with creating different person. On the edge whether to go back to where we begun or to continue with the new me, holding all these details and memories in me.

Shameless Birthday Plug! I ought to go back to see what photos I've posted here on my past birthdays.

I wrote the other day that I'd explain my absence on Flickr. Now that it's summer, I've been trying to stay disconnected. I spend a lot of time complaining that we are always online, on our cell phones, etc., and that I wasn't part of all that. (I am more Emerson/Thoreau -like and avoid pop culture, pop-anything.) I still don't have, nor plan on getting, a cell phone. Just another distraction. I've just not been getting online at all. When the computer is on, I am working on the coming year or listening to music (PHISH!) We all need to disconnect, I suggest.

This photo will be the first in a new Macro Album. The last had 500 photos in it, so it's time to make a new one.

So I originally wasn't going to put this up, but the more and more I looked at it the more I realized it really describes me right now.

I didn't mean for myself to come out so blurred, but it really represents my mind right now. After recent interactions and conversations with people, I've been questioning myself more about who I am, and what I want to do with my life. I've been thinking about it nonstop these past few days, and it's a bit consuming mentally. I figure it's time for me to figure it out, and get my act together.

This is really just a reminder for me of what I have to do. Everyday I am trying to change something to make myself a better person, and I've started asking myself a question everyday when I wake up, which is "What do I want to happen today"

funny story behind this photo...if you've seen my recent upload of me in my kigurumi, then you can imagine that i wear it all the time. i live in a very safe, family oriented neighborhood, and i guess people were confused as to why an adult dressed as a penguin was playing with leaves in the middle of the road. 5 minutes after i finally get "be yourself" written out, a cop comes and parks his car about half a block down the street and watches me until i stop taking photos and go inside.
