An amazing viewe of Beyoğlu and the Galata Tower.. it gives you a good sense of the density of the city and the beauty of it. The tower is dated to the mid 1300s, the Süleymaniye Mosque where I'm taking this picture from the late 1500s.. those huge towers in the background to today the early 2000's... 700 years of easily identifyable history in front of me. This is just an awesome city.

Bedrettin Camii - Beyoğlu

Beyoğlu ilçesinde Bedrettin Mahallesi'nde bulunuyor bu şirin cami. Evlerin arasında sıkılmış kalmış olduğundan pek dikkat çekmez ama çok güzel bir minaresi vardır. Camiyi ismindende anlaşılacağı üzere Bedrettin Bey isimli bir kişi yaptırmış. Caminin ilk halinden geriye sadece minaresi kalmıştır...
