Beyoğlu est un district d'İstanbul situé sur la rive européenne du Bosphore et séparé de la vieille ville par la Corne d'Or. Durant le Moyen Âge, il est connu sous le nom de Pera, nom qui est resté en usage jusqu'au début du XXᵉ siècle et la fondation de la République turque.
