A promo shoot for the Between the Sheets radio show on Seattle University's KSUB station. These girls wanted some provocative shots for their first show!
I heard a southbound BNSF train approaching Litchfield, IL, so I set up along their tracks...only to have a Norfolk Southern train come through first on their adjacent line! I knew my only chance for a shot was a fleeting moment as the train passed between the rural skyscrapers...and it turned out pretty well, even at 40 MPH! NS 6339, an SD40E rebuilt from an SD50, leads the way on 3-28-12.

The University of Cambridge hosted the Twelfth International Roman Law Moot Court Competition between 26 and 30 March 2019 at Trinity College, with the Final held at Ely Cathedral.
The Moot was conducted under the auspices of the Centre for English Legal History in the Faculty of Law.
The International Roman Law Moot Court Competition is a collaboration between the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge, the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, the Universität Wien, Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, the Université de Liège, the Universität Trier and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Very fine 1694 date stone with the date and initials set between barley-twist columns and surmounted by a broken pediment with a central cherub. Looks incongruous on what appears to be a small cottage. The coursing of the front stone wall suggests that that an earlier date, this and the building to the right as far as the scaffolding, formed a single structure. It is possible that the date stone relates to this earlier building which at a later date dropped in status and was converted into labourers cottages. Photographed 27 Nov 2009

So i'm standing at the 44th Ave where it's lower and goes under the road next to Clear Creek from the previous photo talking to this woman when I noticed water bubbling up between the cracks of the foot/Bike path - this area was closed off a couple week's later.

More sushi places between the buildings on the outer fringes of the Tsukiji outer market and the shop in the foreground seems to specialize in cheese hot dogs. Not very Japanese, obviously very tourist oriented and ouch, how artery clogging is that! Detailed notes about the Tsukiji Outer and inner (wholesale) markets appeared earlier in this album (see previous pictures) so I will save you the commentary and simply let you enjoy the pictures). Between 2005-09 Stockholm got more than 58 000 new inhabitants, around twenty one thousand apartments were built in Stockholm, the average area of an apartment was 76.3 square meters giving a total of 1.6 million square meters. The average building cost was 31 000 SEK/sq.m. The total production cost for these apartments ended up being 49.6 billion SEK.

Ann Siang Hill, located off South Bridge Road, was the site of the house and estate of Chia Ann Siang (谢安祥; 1832–1892), a wealthy Malacca-born Hokkien Chinese sawmiller.
The Chinese used to call this area qing shan ting. The early Chinese immigrants visited Ann Siang Hill when they wanted to send money home to their families in China, as it was the traditional site of remittance houses. Letter writers and calligraphers also had their businesses at the five-foot way of the shophouses to help the illiterate immigrants write letters home.
Most of the houses in Ann Siang Hill and along Ann Siang Road were built between 1903 and 1941. Ann Siang Road, which has elegantly restored shophouses today, was once the traditional home of clan associations and exclusive social clubs.
