Returned to my book inspiration for this weeks theme of The Space in Between, or the pages between the covers of a book. This is the same book as my last posting for B&W. I decided it was worth at least one more go as I liked the texture and feel of the book. This book is 86 years old and was presented as a prize to my late Father in Law. HMM

Here is a shot I took awhile back of the local twin Bluewater Bridges in my town. It's not too often I've done long exposure work and I keep wanting to do more of it. Just never seem to get a conditions I've been wanting. I uploaded this before a ways back, but did some reworking on it and I think it turned out pretty good. Something a little different then fog that's for sure.

Self-portrait (this morning, before sunrise, on an adventure).
My guess is that if you're here, you'd consider yourself a dreamer. Or, you like dreams. Or, you have dreams. I'm always being told that I live in my own special world, but people don't know the half of how true that is. My world is amazing to me because I create it as intentionally as I can. This morning, I wanted to create a vision of what that looks like, and this came of it. Holding on to the fragile in-between, existing between two worlds.
May your Monday be as fanciful as you can dream!
* This shot would I think defy any straightening software. Both The Two Towers are leaning very significantly. At the heart of the city they are the symbol of Bologna. They are located at the intersection of the roads that lead to the five gates of the old ring wall (mura dei torresotti). The taller one is called the Asinelli while the smaller but more leaning tower is called the Garisenda. Their names derive from the families, which are traditionally credited for their construction between 1109 and 1119. Their construction was a competition between the two families to show which was the more powerful family.
The Asinelli tower rises 318 feet (97 metres) and slopes seven feet to the West. The smaller tower Garisenda once rose to 197 feet but it had 39 feet lopped off the height in the mid fourteenth century for safety reasons. Garisenda leans full 11 feet to the North East. It is possible to climb the 425 steps to the top of the Asinelli Tower but I did not risk my knees
It hard to imagine but Dante knew these towers well and are cited several times by in the Divine Comedy
Considering their size they proved rather difficult to photograph and this is probably the best of the many shots I took of them

山の天気は変わりやすく、晴れた日でも午後になると雲が出てきて山々を隠してしまうこともよくあります。
Leaving the hut before sunrise and reaching the upper plateau, you can see the Hakuba Mountains behind you and clouds rising from the valleys between the maples, creating a sea of clouds.
This is the world of an altitude of 2000m.
The weather in the mountains is changeable, and even on sunny days, clouds often appear in the afternoon and hide the mountains.

Taken on my recent trip to Norfolk between Boxing day and New Years Eve. Mundesley beach is one of my favourite beaches in Norfolk to photograph. It has a multitude of contrasting surfaces and angles to work with and in this shot i think i got them all.
This chipmunk knew I was there, but sometimes they're so dopey they let you get close. So I dd. Was also testing the Animal Detection feature of the G9 focusing system. It did pretty well tracking and holding.

Its been a long time now since I've managed to spot a Saloon model and even the later 200-Series Volvos are getting hard to see now, looking at the extremely low mileage increases it has very gentle use and it was out of use completely between 2016 and 2017.
