Two of five 310-tonne boilers made a slow journey from Berkeley Power Station on the banks of the River Severn to Sharpness Docks in Gloucestershire.

The 72-feet long boilers will make the journey to Sweden via ship to be decontaminated and the steel recycled. Berkeley Power Station, one of Britain's first nuclear power stations, was decommissioned in 1989.

UC Berkeley - "Some of these tree's took over a 100 years to grow less then 10 hours to destroy"

Over the last few weeks the University chopped down about a dozen 100+ year old redwood trees around Soda Hall to make room for parking garage. To say the least, many people were not that happy about it.

I will post a few images of the pole camera cradle within the next couple of days.
