Ben may have been born in Boston, but he came to Philly as a teenage runaway and made it his home. He and his wife are buried here. Apparently it's a tradition to throw pennies at the grave. Can't say I like that, but oh well.

The guys at the cemetery were very nice. I paid the admission fee and then bought a map to all the famous graves... :)

And one last look at The Liberty Bell Pavilion.

It was such a nice day and we wanted to try getting to Philadelphia via Amtrak train from Lancaster. The train took us to the 30th Street Station and we took the SEPTA subway from there.

The Christ Church Burial Grounds were located right next door to the US Mint so we just had to go for a stroll. Several signers of the Constitution are burried there most notably Benjamin Franklin.

Wall of Heroes of days past, the world needs new heroes, ones we can believe in and follow. I love positive messages and as I was snapping away at this mural, my son decided to reach towards the heroes! Great examples for him to admire.

Cheers.
