I know this is not the ideal name for such a prestige canine, but I think it’s suiting, not only because his head is egg shaped but eggs Benedict is so yummy. And sheesh, now I want some eggs. 🍳

St. Benedict's Church on the High Street, Lincoln is an ancient church in Lincoln which is mentioned in 1107 and before the English Civil War was the Lincoln Civic Church. It was extensively destroyed in the Civil War, but was only partially restored. All that survives is the present nave, which was the chancel of the former church and the short stumpy tower is the oldest surviving part of the church The church was closed in 1931 and demolition was proposed. However, following a public outcry, the church was saved as the result of an appeal and renovation work undertaken.
Now home to the local Mothers Union Group who operate a bookshop, a rest and refreshment area and also open the centre to tourists and others about four days a week.

On a beau dire, quand on écrit et qu'on prend une grave décision pour différents personnages, on a toujours des doutes...Finalement, est-ce qu'on a pris la bonne décision? On pèse le pour et le contre, on refait la scène, on se dit peut-être que j'aurais pu faire des aménagements, ou changer d'avis. On cherche si ce que l'on a écrit, est vraiment la juste voie...On prie, on espère. Parce que l'acte de foi si on l'a fait et qu'on l'a chevillé au corps, c'est quand même un sacré saut du grand plongeoir. Et un sacré pari sur l'histoire aussi.
Et puis ce matin, en allant chercher le pain, qu'est-ce que je trouve dans une de mes jardinières? Cette plume! Si c'est pas un signe du Ciel...et une coïncidence amusante avec le récit...Ca veut dire que le soutien céleste n'est pas usurpé et que j'ai bien la bénédiction pour continuer le conte ainsi! Merci les anges, merci mon Dieu! Merci pour l'inspiration et la guidance. C'est pas toujours facile pour moi d'y voir clair, mais là...ça m'aide vraiment sur le parcours!

I poached eggs for the first time for this breakfast, it was scary at first, but they turned out good! We even watched a Martha Stewart how-to video before we got started! I would like to learn how to make english muffins so we can have it fully homemade.
We used our favorite maple-smoked canadian bacon.
