Taken at Cwm-yr-Eglwys, the site of the ruined church which was posted last week; also in first comment.
HBM!
Another from my run up a local hill to try the new lens.
It was a strange end to the day as a large bank of cloud from the East gradually swept over the Bowland Hills leaving this curve of cloud over the Lancashire Plain. This bench, on a recently cleared piece of forestry, on the summit of Beacon Fell provided a bit of foreground interest and I liked the way the setting suns light picked out the grain in the wooden seating.
First impressions of the Nikon 16-35 are pretty good.
One of several benches along a walkway next to the massive pillars of the Roberts Street Bridge over the Mississippi River in St. Paul, MN.
A little impressionistic painterly effect added which really brought out the stains on the stone.
HBM
I found this bench almost in the wood the other weekend.
The only problem with it is, is that it's facing the wrong way.
The wood and by far the more interesting view is behind it. It faces this!

Benches along the Blackstone River Greenway Bike Trail. HBM!
Thanks in advance for any likes or comments. I appreciate it, and have a great week ahead!
Happy bench Monday. I took this on my bike ride the other day and it’s amazing how much Lake Michigan is down in lake level. Just two years ago it was up almost to the bench. Have a wonderful Monday.
As I was making my way home yesterday I noticed these benches along the hedge dividing the promenade from the little grassed area. Thought they looked good so took a quick shot.
Much better viewed large.
Thank you for your favourites. :O)
Not a very comfy looking one, but any bench might be better than none.
Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites.
One last pallet bench from the convalescent home. It was great for a sunny afternoon.

We are just back from a trip in our camper van taking in parts of Dorset, South Devon and Cornwall.
Here is the first of many from this couple of weeks, taken on Portland.
HBM!
I spotted this bench in Parham Manor and Garden in England. The ferns growing through the bench made for a delightful photo opportunity.
Captured at the Powerhouse, in Brisbane. I don't know if other photographers fancy this scene, but IMO it would be something different for a wedding photo, or some other special occasion.
