picked up a dozen of these for £4 at Sunday's Brick Lane Market. Little did I know how difficult they would be to shuck with a butter knife. Luckily, I had guests on hand who could attend to that :-)
A particularly interesting combination of that day was a Brick Lane Beigel (15p) toasted and slathered with cream cheese, smoked salmon (£5/pound), sea salt (the French smoked variety), this oyster, and several drops of Chipotle Tabasco sauce.
