Brick Lane was not what I expected, but interesting. Had some of the best bagels (beigels) I have ever had.
505 Xenia Ave was founded by German immigrant Henry Beigel in 1900. In 1933, his son Oscar inherited the business, eventually passing it on to his two sons. Today, Nicohlas and Raymond Biegel continue their father's and grandfather's business.
Bagel not Beigel -- In a neighborhood called Brick Lane, located in London's eastern quadrant, you will find two famous bagel shops that have been there for years. Being a Jewish woman from the states, I found it proper to note that there is a correct spelling of bagel and it's not "beigel". Hence, you will find Jazmina photographed in front of one of these famous London shops, smiling at their foolishness. :)
