We were busy potting some plants, herbs and veggies on our terrace and didn't want the crew to come in the dirt... So they were quite upset and kept checking on us :).

I've been returning to the canal recently finding angles and possibilities, but not feeling that the light, the reflections and the "moment" were quite right to do the place justice.

Yesterday, however, I spent several hours on a wonderful frosty morning waiting for things to come together ... and I'm quite pleased with some of the results ...

He spends the day behind the wheel, thinking about where he would rather be.

He yells back at people who pass complaining about his driving. It seems as if

he is all by himself in the bus, speeding through town ignoring traffic lights.

But I don't mind, I bet I'd be upset if I had to spend my day in traffic hell in the

blistering heat of the midday sun... so I just put on my headphones and enjoy the ride.

I watch passengers get on the bus complaining about the last bus that passed and didn't stop, observe the faces of the different people that get on. The Buss crosses Rio de Janeiro passing through the slumps (favelas) and the richest neighborhoods so I get to see all the different people that live in this beautiful town...the story can begin with anyone.
