Inside the Berlin Wall.

Walked by a jewelry store on Götgatan this evening, just before closing.

The owner was taking out the gold and jewelry from the windows, and replaced the tray in one of the lockers with his dog.

She did not mind, not at all, but when I took this snap, she looked very pitiful and people stopped on the sidewalk, uttering their "Awwww:s" and "Ooooh:s".

Probably a trick that pays off.

This vintage VHS release of "Condemned to Hell" (1984) carries the Korean title "City of Women" and promises heavy dollops of B-movie exploitation action of all kinds. Extremely rare tape from the obscure-film-friendly label D&S.

Once there was a young monkey named Alex, who lived in a rough neighborhood. Growing up, Alex had always felt like an outsider and struggled to find a sense of belonging. This all changed when he met a group of monkeys from his neighborhood who had formed a gang. They welcomed him with open arms and he finally felt like he had a place where he belonged.

Despite not committing any crime, Alex was falsely accused of organized crime by the police, who had mistaken him as part of the group. Despite his protests of innocence and lack of evidence, he was still sentenced to life in prison.

In prison, Alex was isolated and alone. He was often targeted by rivaling gangs and had to defend himself, which led to more charges and longer sentence. He sometimes sees his friends from childhood but they were not the same, they were broken and beaten by the reality of prison. They don't have fun anymore, they are just trying to survive.

Alex knows that he will die in his cold cell, alone and far away from his home, his family and the life he once had. He had no way to prove his innocence and his voice was not heard.

The justice system is not perfect, and innocent people can be falsely accused and punished. It is important to question authority and to fight for justice, even if it seems like an uphill battle.

We were taking pictures of some girls outside to her right. I noticed her watching and could tell that she wanted to come out but was kind of scared to. I took the opportunity to snap a picture. When she noticed me, she welcomed me to take a couple more.

GMP are thrown into Twitter Jail for too many Tweets during the first hours of Twitter Day!

For 24 hours from 5.00am this morning, Thursday 14 October, Greater Manchester Police will be publishing details of every incident that it deals with on Twitter to allow the public to see what officers at one of the largest UK forces face on a daily basis.

Chief Constable Peter Fahy wants to show the public the complexities of modern policing, which often aren’t fully appreciated.

This comes as police face unprecedented budget cuts, putting them under even more pressure to deliver an effective policing service.

Chief Constable Fahy said: “Policing is often seen in very simple terms, with cops chasing robbers and locking them up. However the reality is that this accounts for only part of the work they have to deal with.

“A lot of what we do is dealing with social problems such as missing children, people with mental health problems and domestic abuse. Often these incidents can be incredibly complex and need a lot of time, resource and expertise.

“I am not saying that we shouldn’t deal with these types of incidents, far from it, but what I am saying is that this work is not recognised in league tables and measurements – yet is a huge part of what we do.

“I think that it’s time to start measuring performance in a different way. There needs to be more focus on how the public sector as a whole is working together to tackle society’s issues and problems.

“We see time and again the same families, the same areas and the same individuals causing the same problems and these people are causing a considerable drain to the public purse.

“Instead of the public sector organisations having separate pots of money we could spend it more efficiently it were one big pot. This could be achieved by working together more effectively, by joining up and sharing the responsibility of the issues that we are all dealing with.”

Once upon a time, there was a monkey named Juan who lived in Columbia, known for having the best bananas in the world. Juan was a hardworking monkey, proud of his country's delicious fruit. He spent his days tending to the banana trees, ensuring that they were healthy and producing the sweetest fruit.

One day, Juan had a dream of sharing the taste of his beloved Columbia's bananas with the rest of the world. He decided to smuggle the bananas into the United States, where he knew they would be highly sought after. He carefully packaged the bananas, hid them among his cargo, and set off on his journey.

But, unfortunately for Juan, his plans were foiled when he was caught by the authorities at the border. He was arrested and thrown into prison for his crime. Juan soon realized that his desire to share the taste of his home with others had led to his downfall. He was stuck in a small and dirty cell, with no hope of release, and away from his beloved Columbia.

Juan spent his days in prison, longing for the sweet smell of the banana trees and the warmth of the sun on his fur. He missed the taste of the fruit he had devoted his life to and the companionship of his family. He knew that he would spend the rest of his days in prison, far away from the place and people he loved.

Juan's story serves as a cautionary tale, reminding us of the dangers of giving into temptation and the importance of following the laws. The moral of the story is: don't smuggle bananas no matter how good they taste, it's not worth it.

When I read off the ten items I still needed for the scavenger hunt, he immediately said he had an idea for Behind Bars. He is crazy. Lucky me. (Most days).

Out on a job today and this little guy was locked behind bars... not because he was savage... because he would photobomb the entire shoot and want constant fuss!

Hence why he looks sad.

Locked away from the outside world...

No where to go

No one to help

The human is locked inside a padded cell. The plague-bringing undead lord is free to roam. But together, they can spread panic and pain like never before.

Taken in 2011.

While I waited for a train in Boston's Downtown Crossing subway station, this girl who was standing on the other side of a turnstile seemed to be held behind bars.

Sammy the Pitbull/Labrador mix was returned to BARK for the second time today. This time his new home had a Chihuahua that would absolutely not give Sammy any slack. Instead of not just hoping Sammy didn't defend himself, his owners made the right call in returning him.

Sammy is a real people-magnet that craves tons of attention and exercise. He knows four commands.

"Liberty Enlightening the World".

THE NEW COLOSSUS

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,

With conquering limbs astride from land to land;

Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand

A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame

Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name

Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand

Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command

The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.

"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she

With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,

The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.

Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,

I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Experimenting with B&W photos!! :o)

Yashica Mat 124 + Ilford FP4 125 expired (2009)

It's funny, really... they never actually met in the movie. Not once. But Orlok sent a letter to Mr. Knock, scrawled with occult symbols, shattering the poor man's mind and forging a strange psychic connection between them. Knock has the last line in Nosferatu, lamenting the death of his master.
