Taken with my AF Micro-Nikkor 60mm f/2.8D prime. Compare to the adjacent photo, taken with my AF-S Nikkor 18-140 mm 1:3.5-5.6 G ED, just a kit lens that came with my D7500. Thoughts?

PETTICOAT... BEGONIA
This makes me think of the petticoats worn by the girls in the 1950's.
A rose-like begonia, the Picotee White & Pink produces gorgeous semi-ruffled double white and soft pink blossoms.
With 1,831 species, Begonia is one of the largest genera of flowering plants.
Have a fun day and thank you for your visits and comments, M, (*_*)

After doing little else but take photos of animals for the last couple of years sitting down in our hobby room just messing is great. Had a few little gifts for my birthday, things i would never thought of myself, so its trail cams in the new wood on Monday then more messing with bits.
This tiny dangling drop of melting frost on a wilted begonia was incredibly deep red even though the bloom was dark pink. Same as first photo but not taken quite as close.
Had the first freezing night and frost. Had to grab a few photos as much warmer temps coming this weekend. Sorry for so many photos, no need to comment, just saving to albums. :-)
