This vast man-made complex of underground caverns was created by centuries of quarrying the famous Beer Stone. The underground quarry, first worked by the Romans, supplied stone for 24 cathedrals including Exeter and St.Paul's, parts of Westminster Abbey etc.

This is Sumida river passing through Asakusa, Tokyo. On the left is the headquarters of the Asahi Beer company, a famous landmark. It is roughly shaped and colored based on a glass of beer. Winding around it is the metropolitan expressway route 6. In the center is the Azuma bridge which appeared in another photo a few days ago.

Brewed Ginger Beer for the Looking Close... On Friday group, topic: Bokeh in B&W. I first tried the stuff based on the name, but quickly became a fan. Pretty decent soft drink! Happy Friday!
Two Burlington Northern Santa Fe SD40-2s lead the eastbound “beer train” through Arvada, Colorado, approaching C&S Junction on September 6, 2000. BNSF’s Golden Subdivision serves the Coors Brewery in Golden (among other customers) west of Denver. This area has changed once again, with the addition of RTD’s ‘G line’ electric commuter rail line that parallels this former Colorado & Southern route as far as Ward Road in Wheat Ridge.
The old, and now demolished, Dow Planetarium, where I spent many happy hours marvelling at the illusion of a big sky in the city. Dow beer is also gone.
A can of beer, the buttons and the circuit from an old telephone and some minor interventions in the body of the box (wiring) and ... voila! A fully functional phone!

Picked this up when I was in Beijing. Drank it today for lunch. Tasted like one of those wine cooler thingees.
By the way, shot this on my new D700 using a 70-200VR. This lens vignettes terribly at 200mm wide open, check out the corners of this shot. It kind of works for this photo, but I rather add this myself in post than have every single one of my shots look like this. Unacceptable, really, for a $1700 lens.

Sam found himself alone in the laboratory, the dim lights flickering intermittently over the equipment. A bottle of beer was within his reach as he immersed himself in his thoughts. Recently, an unusual event had shaken his scientific world: the disappearance of a body from the incubators. This act not only defied the laws but also raised serious questions about the integrity of the timeline.
As the golden liquid flowed down his throat, Sam pondered the possible devastating consequences that this incident could unleash. What effect would it have on historical evolution? How would it alter temporal continuity? These questions haunted him, filling his mind with unease and concern.
An even more alarming idea seized his thoughts: Who could have orchestrated this act and for what purpose? Time travel technology was heavily regulated, its illegal use a serious offense. Only a few would have access to it, and none of them would have noble motives to carry out such an action.
As Sam delved into his reflections, a determination grew within him: he must uncover the truth behind this enigma. Not only for the sake of the scientific community and temporal stability but also for his insatiable thirst for knowledge. With determination in his gaze, he promised himself that he would not rest until he found answers and ensured that temporal integrity remained intact.
