Burger #6 from The Bobās Burgers Burger Book.
Season 2, Episode 3. āDo The Brussel Burgerā.
A bacon burger topped with sauteed sprouts & pistachios and soured cream, served with sweet potato fries.
A place where the Messels (owners and creators of the gardens) would sit and admire the view. There's a word for it and i just can't think of what it is, probably all those beefburgers i ate back in the 80s.
Original Recipe:
1 x 8oz pkt beefburger
1 oz butter or marg
1 small onion, chopped
2 rashers bacon, chopped
4 oz long grain rice
3/4 pint beef stock
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 x 8 oz can tomatoes
1 tin mushrooms
pinch mixed dry herb
salt and pepper
My version:
2 deli burgers (1 french onion, 1 bacon cheddar)
2 oz butter
8 oz (2 cups) short grain brown rice (hence the increase in butter)
1 green pepper
1 16oz can Diced / no salt added tomatoes (couldn't find a smaller can with no salt added)
forgot the mixed herbs (will mention what I add later on... after I get up to add it)

A woman with a salad walked past me in the restaurant and said you know a cow died so you could eat that beefburger. I said, if you weren't eating its food it might have lived.

they didnt have chairs out the front but it over looks the beautiful Jardim Visconde da Luz park. a must see at only a 4 min walk inland from the baia hotel. 5 STARS

THERE ARE FINE RODEO PERFORMANCES HERE IN CANON CITY.
i WAS SURPRISED TO RECEIVE THESE NICE GIFTS FROM THE 'COWBELLS' WHOM ATTEND THE BEEFBURGER COOKING WHILE THE RODEO IS GOING ON..
i HAD GIVEN THEM A COPY OF THE TWO HOUR TAPE OF THE FIRST RODEO NIGHT.
ONE OF THE LADIES WAS AN EXPERT CERAMIC ARTIST.
A FEW WEEKS HAD WENT BY AFTER THE RODEOS AND I WAS CALLED TO COME TO THE OFFICE.
SUCH A PLEASANT UNEXPECTED SURPRISE.

It was quite nice. Too chocolatey IMO, maybe too many almonds, but I followed the recipe carefully so that was how it was intended.
Also not a beefburger.
