A bee in our garden, taken for World Honey Bee day for the group challenge 118 pictures in 2018. I took loads of photos of yellow and black flying insects but most of them were different types of wasp!

I have decided to change my self-portrait day to sunday as it fits in etter with the big five two. I am very fond of bees.

This bee was about to land on this pretty red flower. The flower looks just like a Texas Bluebonnet flower, but it is red instead of blue. The bee has a lot of pollen on its legs already! It is a hard worker!

Now that it is winter, I figured I could go over all of my summer pic's and pull out any that catch my eye.

the bees were all over this crack in the rock. water was weeping out of the crack.
