A bee in our garden, taken for World Honey Bee day for the group challenge 118 pictures in 2018. I took loads of photos of yellow and black flying insects but most of them were different types of wasp!
I have decided to change my self-portrait day to sunday as it fits in etter with the big five two. I am very fond of bees.
This bee was about to land on this pretty red flower. The flower looks just like a Texas Bluebonnet flower, but it is red instead of blue. The bee has a lot of pollen on its legs already! It is a hard worker!
