Bees are flying insects closely related to wasps and ants, and are known for their role in pollination and for producing honey and beeswax. Bees are a monophyletic lineage within the superfamily Apoidea, presently considered as a clade Anthophila.

This Bee was seen tirelessly pollinating a number of wild flowers. It didn't seem to be bothered by me following it quite closely to capture a sequence of images.
I recently caught a swarm of bees. This is a frame of brood from the new hive. Bee larvae can be seen in some of the cells.

Spent the morning along the banks of the delightful Little Ouse hoping to photograph the river side insects.
Happily there were several bees and so I has a go at them but ID is a problem.
Help with this would be warmly welcomed please.
