WESTERN SAHARA: FORGOTTEN CONFLICT
An old beduin walk on the side of an a pre islamic tomb in the "liberated territories" of the Western Sahara.
The Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic is a land divided by a thirty year old conflict. The United Nations says this is the longest and largest territorial conflict in the world.
At night we sat in a shared tent, swapped stories and jammed using amongst other things these Beduin drums

She insisted on a picture of just the two of us. I have no idea how old she was (I just hope not around 60!). She sent me home with some home made thin traditional flat bread that caused me a little bit of trouble with the airport security folks on the way home.
