If you've ever tried to approach a bedded buck, you know it's a low probability deal. Usually in a thicket such as this and not a good shooting lane and he's going to bust you before you get close. This buck had been chasing a doe for over an hour and both were tired and just decided to take a break. Our beautiful world, pass it on.
Here is the final photo of the custom bed. Similar, but with a few tweaks to make it look more mission/rustic and less urban/ikea!
It's a California King size, and wow, is it big! I wish I had enough doll room to keep it for myself-- as it is, I barely had enough room on my teeny table to photograph it, lol!
Be Apes' Bootsy found a girlfriend. Black haired Lulu. They decide to have a Bed-In for promoting peace in the world and peace in the hard recording work. Fans and friends were thinking they would be talking about this Simian peace thing but Bootsy was just snoring.

The tanning bed, or as I like to call it, the cancer coffin. It had some weird effect on my phone's camera and caused the black horizontal lines.
During the low tide the oyster beds on Woodstown beach become visible. While I was there the sun surprised me with a bonus.

This is one of 3 Least Bittern chicks at the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch in Gilbert, AZ where we live (in Gilbert, not the preserve ;-). Just love their fuzzy heads. I heard they just left their nest last week.
We need a dollhouse Mighty Maid to come and dust at Counterpane Lane because it will be quite long before I have time to do it. First I must put away Christmas, put away Valentines, get out bunnies, sew some doll clothes, take some photos, play on Flickr, go for walks, organize the basement, do some craft projects, play with the grandkids.
