I think this one is up there with my favourites from our recent trip to Bempton
I love the bokeh created from the sea below, glistening as the sunlight hits, like magical fairy lights
The gannets were constantly busy finding nesting material, both on the grassy cliff sides and surrounding fields and would often gather huge mouthfuls to carry back to their nests
As an artistic feature I've added a white vignette, which I think adds to the image
All three napping beside me - their favourite fabric is our bedlinen...

No skeletons here, as we do not celebrate death on All Saints' Eve. Instead a couple of shots of a very lively Caithlin in the fresh bedlinen. :)

The sweet smell of freshly cut grass or hay is caused by an organic chemical called coumarin. Honey Clover contains a lot of it and in dried packets it's been used down through the centuries to scent clothing or bed linens.
This Clover - you can hardly not notice - attracts all kinds of insects, especially Bees. Here it's being visited by a Large Earth Bumblebee.
Our Grand Duchess is not too posh to help Mama change the bedlinen...

These two ladies are part of an ensemble of lifesize bronze statues commemorating the townswomen of Paderborn who used to wash their clothes and bedlinen in the river - and of course they had a good gossip while doing it.
Mamiya C330 professional f, Mamiya Sekor 2.8/80, no filter, Fomapan 100 developed in Rodinal 1+50 using a Jobo drum and my home-made roller,scanned on an Epson V800 and adjusted in Lightroom.
The pictures are on magnets, so I can move them wherever I want them to go, without creating holes in the walls. The other end will be the lounge....
Or maybe this end will be the lounge - I can move the stairs around...
Need to find a table to put the room box on so I can get the window in front of the window :)
it was hot again last night and the sleep very random. woke up at 4, then at 5, then at 6 with the sound of the roadsweeper whistling a happy tune while on duty... I thought it was wonderful that he had the happiness and strength to whistle a tune in this heat, doing his job, sweeping roads. then some of the African guys had an argument about who deserved to get the best carpet to sell... I mean, we have a shop opposite which sells bedlinen and carpets. It is run by Italians but they have African guys "on the road" for them, if you know what I mean. So these two were discussing whom should have the nicest one to sell, I could understand them cause they speak a mix of English and italian and dialect and it's kind of very interesting..... I would love to have enough money to give up my day job and be with these people, follow them, documenting how they live, love, hope.... there are many many foreigners in here and in spite of Local Government saying they're integrated, they're not. "WE" see THEM as lesser people, I sense it all the time, My friend Paolo and I are probably the only Italians buying at the Chinese Market, getting kebabs and chatting to its Asian owner. No one else does it, I mean no other italian in my street does it. It's weird, I love my area cause it reminds me of London, of its multicultural texture, but most of my fellow citiziens would prefer this people go back to their own Country... they forget Italians are basically EVERYWHERE and we too were subject of racism. In Uk I have been called "fucking immigrant" more than once and it is not nice.
