My Book Immagini e Parole - My Best on black - My Recent on black
It’s always been a dream to visit Venice and it didn’t disappoint. It was a perfect Christmas present.
The eyelash viper is so beautiful to see but very poisonous and one is very careful not not get too close. They are indigenous to Costa Rica but not seen very often. On my numerous trips to Costa Rica I have only seen one once. They are named because of what appears to be their long beautiful eyelashes. It was a thrill to see and photograph this striking creature of the rain forest but glad there was plenty of distance between him and us.
Wishing you all a great and blessed evening !
I've seen this duck for several days now, swimming on our lake, but no missus or young ones. Maybe there are some, but no sightings yet.
"You are all together beautiful,my love;there is no flaw in you."-Song of Solomon 4:7
(thank you, Esther Miller for the verse.)
Since I recently did a photo project on body image, I thought I’d continue with the idea of beauty for my next one. I decided to do double exposures of two very different girls, but both equally beautiful. I wanted to overlap the images of these two women in order to blur the definition of beauty. You cannot just make a list of what makes a person beauty without others arguing it. To me, beauty is our uniqueness. Our differences are what truly make us beautiful, and these girls are completely different. I also photographed them in different and conflicting environments than one another to further the concept. I photographed the girly girl in a flower garden and the pierced girl in the alleys of Redlands.
Last years Bracken adding a splash of colour to the bare hedgerows. A complete mess of old foliage and twigs but a pretty one!
Two of the four turbines at the former Tullis Russell paper mill. Sadly since this photo was taken these fine turbines have been torn apart by metal thieves, wrecking what was likely to be the finest remaining power station of this size in the country
